SYSTEMS ADMINISTRATOR (Req 23 070)
Responsibilities:
Manage 50-100 user RDT&E servers and network.
Maintain hardware and software systems, to include patching and troubleshooting connectivity or access challenges; support IA data calls; review system logs for potential issues requiring resolution; provide customer support for supported systems; perform user account management functions; maintain configuration control and configuration processes for adding / modifying systems; support IA activities to include system patching, POA&M review and mitigation, and (re)accreditation efforts.
Education:
BS or BA degree from an accredited university in a Computer Science or Relevant Technical Discipline.
Allowable Substitution:
An AS or AA degree from an accredited university in a technical discipline or related field and an additional four (4) years of IT experience can be substituted for a BS or BS degree OR an additional eight (8) years of experience may be substituted for a BS or BA.
Experience:
Five (5) years of experience as a System Administrator.
Other:
Must meet Cyber Security Work Force (CSWF) requirements as defined in DOD 8570.
01-M.
Ability to work collaboratively and lead teams.
Must be able to sit and look at computer screens for extended duration.
