Production Manager at St.
Inigoes, MD.
Compliance Corporation has an immediate opening for an experienced Machine Shop Manager.
Duties and
Responsibilities:
Acts as the overall site lead and manager for the Industrial and Production contracted effort in support of Navy programs and projects.
Serves as the primary interface and point of contact between the Program Manager and Project Managers overseeing contractor personnel working on technical program and project issues.
Formulates policies, manages production operations, and plans the use of materials and human resources of the site team.
Plans, directs, and coordinates the operations of the engineering, prototyping and fabrications shop, overseeing multiple artisan departments.
Duties include leading a team of skilled artisans and craftsmen in support of a broad range of machine shop functions.
Duties also include coordinating the development of detailed cost estimates for incoming work and developing updated shop load plans and status reports for all pending work.
Must be proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, and Power Point).
Able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Excellent communication skills - written and verbal.
Technical and Business writing skills.

Qualifications:
Candidates for the position must be U.
S.
Citizens and must be able to obtain and maintain a favorable personnel security determination for a DoD Secret clearance.
Bachelor's degree and 10 years of experience or an Associates degree and 14 years of experience or no degree and 16 years of experience in engineering or technical management of Navy or DoD programs.
At least three (3) years of professional experience in the Defense acquisition, and three (3) years of experience in support of Navy Acquisition management.
Knowledgeable of acquisition policies and procedures.
Demonstrated knowledge of and experience with the requirements of the DOD 5000 series.
