IT Operations Lead
Key Role:
Manage and oversee operations and maintenance activities and support staff, including system, database, and network administrators, IA analysts, and help desk support agents in a network operations center. Maintain responsibility for infrastructure, systems, and applications including the design, implementation, sustainability, and deployment of system enhancements and upgrades. Work closely with client leadership to report progress. Troubleshoot issues and plan and design for future system enhancements to the infrastructure. Ensure system performance metrics are being met and provide regular status and operational updates to all stakeholders. Interface with engineering and development teams to determine software requirements and manage upgrade and release schedules.
Basic Qualifications:
Experience with a wide variety of technologies and products, including virtualization, Windows, network switches and routers, firewalls, and Cybersecurity
Experience with ITIL-based IT service management, including incident, problem, and change management
Ability to engineer, design, and develop solutions to technical and process challenges
Ability to lead technical staff, manage requirements and schedules, and interface with client leadership directly
Active Secret clearance required
HS diploma or GED
CompTIA Security+ Certification or ability to obtain within 2+ months of hire
Additional Qualifications:
Experience with the Cloud, including AWS preferred
Possession of excellent oral and written communication skills, including communicating with staff, management, and clients effectively
BS degree in CS, Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Information Systems, or MIS preferred
Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) or Certified Information Systems Manager (CISM) preferred

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
