Logistics Configuration Analyst I (Shore ATC Systems) with Security Clearance

Job Description BAE Systems Inc. is looking for a logistics configuration analyst to join our team supporting shore-based Air Traffic Control and Landing systems, including the civil Instrument Landing System. The selected candidate will be part of a dynamic team providing logistics and configuration management services in support of the Customer's Air Traffic Control and Landing Systems. Qualified candidates will: Develop and maintain configuration data for new installations aboard Navy and Marine Corps Air stations. Perform logistics review of products, such as engineering change proposals (ECPs), integrated logistics support plans, configuration management plans, engineering drawings, technical manuals, specifications, etc. Plan, coordinate, and prepare integrated logistics support (ILS) products and plans such as provisioning documentation (APL's, MPL's) and Reliability/Maintainability and Availability (RM&A) analysis. Develop strategies to overcome obstacles to the accomplishment of logistics support for assigned ATC & LS system(s) Review requirements and contracts to determine logistics documentation required for each phase of a project Analyze proposed changes of product design to determine logistical effect on overall product and system. Coordinate modification records for configuration management control. Attend customer meetings and present information related to program logistics topics. Perform other duties as required. This position is located in scenic and historic Southern Maryland in the St. Mary's County Technology Corridor adjacent to the Patuxent River Naval Air Station. Typical Education & Experience Typically a Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience Required Skills and Education Bachelor's degree (4 years of defense life-cycle logistics experience may be substituted for the degree) Knowledge of CDMD-OA Excellent computer skills in MS Office Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing Sound interpersonal skills for interfacing and coordinating with the company, personnel, customers, and supplier Ability to obtain and maintain the required security clearance Preferred Skills and Education Familiarity with ATC Web DAU Fundamentals of Systems Acquisition Management Certification Course ACQ 101 Work towards a Professional Logistics Certification Experience in preparing technical documentation Familiarity with and/or experience in Integrated Logistics Support of shore-based systems on military installations Knowledge of air traffic control systems or electronic systems Familiarity with ICAPS, FEDLOG, OneTouch, HAYSTACK Attention to detail, coupled with effective time management and organization skills About BAE Systems Intelligence & Security BAE Systems Intelligence & Security, based in McLean, Virginia, designs and delivers advanced defense, intelligence, and security solutions that support the important missions of our customers. The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
