IFF Systems Engineer with Security Clearance

Job Description BAE Systems is seeking an experienced Systems Engineer to work in the design, development, and test of complex systems comprising both hardware and software. Responsibilities will include support of development of requirements, requirements tracking, system design & development,and verification and validation testing. The work will be performed in support of the US Navy in the development of IFF Systems. This position will require 5-10% travel to sponsor and OEM facilities, as well as test sites and operational platforms and may include occasional at sea support on board Navy surface ship platforms (i.e. Carriers/Destroyers) This position is located in scenic and historic Southern Maryland in the St. Mary's County Technology Corridor adjacent to the Patuxent River Naval Air Station. Typical Education & Experience Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering/Computer Engineering and 4-6 years of related experience Required Skills and Education Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering/Computer Engineering and 4-6 years of related experience Knowledge in one or more of the following areas: C/C++, real-time operating systems, embedded systems, firmware design in VHDL Experience in requirements development and tracking Testing and trouble-shooting experience, including development of verification and validation test plans Ability to obtain and maintain the required security clearance Preferred Skills and Education Familiarity with SEI CMM/CMMI Technical writing experience FPGA design in VHDL C++ About BAE Systems Intelligence & Security BAE Systems Intelligence & Security, based in McLean, Virginia, designs and delivers advanced defense, intelligence, and security solutions that support the important missions of our customers. Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
