SCA Electronic Technician I with Security Clearance

Job Description The selected applicant will follow documented engineering drawings, processes, test plans, work instructions, change orders, and related technical guidance. Will work as part of a growing team applying standard practices and techniques in electronic, mechanical, or other technical disciplines. Expected tasking includes the installation of small components including micro components onto circuit boards; installing circuit boards into sub-assemblies; installing sub-assemblies, wiring harnesses, and cable connectors into assemblies, until a final unit is delivered. Activities may include parts requests, fabrication, assembly, integration, and testing. This position is located in Southern Maryland, St. Mary's County Technology Corridor adjacent to the Patuxent River Naval Air Station. Relocation assistance is not available for this position. Applicants must be currently residing in or state willingness to relocate self to St. Mary's County, Maryland or surrounding areas. Required Skills and Education High school diploma and 1 year of experience in electronics or completion of Vocational Technical training in electronics Basic computer knowledge Ability to lift 40 pounds Ability to obtain and maintain the required security clearance Ability to pass BAE Systems solder and cable fabrication training Preferred Skills and Education Radar and digital experience Experience with shipboard systems Navy NEC 1571 (V06B) AN/UPX-29(V) Ship System Maintainer and NEC 1572 (V07B) AIMS technician Experience with discrete component level troubleshooting, aligning and adjustment of electronic circuitry Certified Solder Technician specializing in SMT, lead free and through hole Certified Quality Assurance Inspector Cable fabrication certification Knowledge of ISO, Lean Six Sigma, and/or best practices Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) - Maritime (OSHA 1915) training About BAE Systems Intelligence & Security BAE Systems Intelligence & Security, based in McLean, Virginia, designs and delivers advanced defense, intelligence, and security solutions that support the important missions of our customers. Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
